About Us
DOODLE RESCUE (registered charity no 1193955) is a foster based volunteer run rescue charity which rehomes poodle cross dogs to carefully vetted families which are matched to the individual dog’s needs. We fully understand how difficult the decision to rehome a beloved dog always is, and our experienced rehoming mentors provide owners with compassionate and non-judgmental support throughout.
When appropriate, we support owners who wish to consider alternatives to relinquishing their dogs. We may also be able to assist owners who are struggling with their dog’s behaviour and can help you to find the right fully accredited trainer or behaviourist for your dog’s needs (please also see the Training/Behavioural Advice webpage)
The 2025 BBC Make A Difference Awards Radio Manchester Finalists have been announced. There are four very deserving finalists (out of thousands of nominations) in the Animal Category, including Doodle Rescue’s behavioural adviser, IMDT trainer and rehabilitator Debbie Topping. We all know how special Debbie is, and we are so pleased that her vital work in quite literally saving the lives of many of the rescue’s most vulnerable and desperate dogs(dogs who have gone on to live the most wonderful lives with adoring families, entirely thanks to her dedication and expertise), as well as the many hours she puts in to supporting owners, fosterers and adopters has been recognised by the BBC Judging Panel. This is the full list of 2025 Finalists
